Il mwbgMapocho è un mwbwfiume del mwcaCile.

Il nome deriva probabilmente dalla storpiatura della parola in mwcglingua mapudungun mwcwMapuche, che letteralmente significa mwdagente del luogo. Scorre per 110mwdq km nella mwdgRegione Metropolitana di Santiago, dalla sua Sorgente presso il comune di mwdwLo Barnechea, sulla mweaCordigliera delle Ande, fino alla sua foce, dove confluisce nel fiume Maipo. È di regime neve-pluviale.

Sulle sue rive fu fondata la città di mwewSantiago, che poi sarebbe diventata la capitale del mwfaCile, dove oggi il fiume scorre canalizzato nella parte nord settentrionale della città. Durante il suo percorso, da est verso ovest, incrocia i comuni di mwfqLo Barnechea, mwfgVitacura, mwfwLas Condes, mwgaProvidencia, mwgqRecoleta, mwggIndependencia, mwgwSantiago, mwhaRenca, mwhqQuinta Normal, mwhgCerro Navia, mwhwPudahuel, mwiaMaipú, mwiqPadre Hurtado, mwigPeñaflor, mwiwTalagante ed mwjaEl Monte.
